ROLL ON SYSTEM: OUR PATENT FOR EVERY NEED AND SKIN TYPE

SISTEMA ROLL ON. NUESTRA PATENTE PARA CADA NECESIDAD Y TIPO DE PIEL
Starpil invented the roll-on system in 1991, which was patented for nearly 11 years. During that time, we were the only wax manufacturer in the world able to offer this new method of hair removal to the market. This period of exclusivity helped establish Maystar as a renowned manufacturer of waxes, pre- and post-waxing cosmetics, application techniques, and luxury protocols, now available in over 90 countries.

As the creators and manufacturers of the roll-on system, we ensure that this method provides professionals with security, efficiency, and hygiene—three essential pillars of a successful waxing treatment.

Waxes can be either creamy or crystalline, and the choice between them depends on the skin diagnosis of the client.

**Creamy Waxes:** These contain a mineral powder, Titanium Dioxide, making them more selective and less adhesive to the skin while being kinder and gentler. They are suitable for sensitive skin, tanned skin (to maintain color), and skin with mild visible flaking (common on lower legs due to insufficient hydration), indicating compromised skin barrier integrity.

**Roll-On Examples:** Creamy Pink, Cotton, Cappuccino, Carrot, Rosa (with Iridescent Pigments), Coral, Calendula.

**Crystalline Waxes:** These do not contain Titanium Dioxide and are ideal for normal skin without sensitivity.

**Roll-On Examples:** Natural, Olive Oil, Watermelon, Blue, Algae, Starsoft.

For the best results, professionals should use both types of waxes to customize treatments based on skin type. Both crystalline and creamy waxes effectively remove hair when applied correctly.

**TIPS:**

→ With our low-fusion waxes, especially for sensitive areas like the bikini line, underarms, and face, we recommend using the roll-on and can wax for larger body areas such as legs, back, arms, abdomen, and chest.

→ To prevent wax from oversaturating the roll-on head and dripping, incorporate the wax gradually as you apply it.

→ Always perform a safety test on a hygienic strip to ensure the wax isn't too hot (which can cause dripping).

→ Use our hygienic strips for their superior thickness, anatomical fit, and effectiveness.

→ Remove the hygienic strip from the skin parallel to the skin surface.

→ Remember, the wax in a roll-on is the same as the wax in a can; the difference is in the format and application technique. When using can wax, apply very thin layers.

→ Apply only one layer of wax, being particularly careful with creamier waxes due to their higher density from Titanium Dioxide.

→ Avoid reapplying wax in the same area. Instead, vigorously activate the wax already on the hygienic strip over the area to finish without reapplying.

→ When applying wax, hold the applicator at a 45-degree angle to the skin, never at a right angle.
