THE SWEETNESS OF HONEY ON OUR SKIN: WHY CHOOSE LOW-MELTING POINT WAXES?

LA DULZURA DE LA MIEL EN NUESTRA PIEL ¿PORQUÉ CERAS DE BAJA FUSIÓN?

We believe that our low-melting point waxes are truly Starpil jewels. For their excellent quality, for their outstanding performance in hair removal, and because, with good application techniques, we can work on the most sensitive areas, minimizing discomfort and irritation for our clients.

In the protocols suggested by Starpil, we recommend their use in areas such as the face, bikini line, and underarms, while other areas like legs, back, and arms are better suited for the roll-on system. Starpil's low-melting point waxes are very gentle on the skin and adhere less to the skin compared to the roll-on system, which is why we choose them for more sensitive areas.

However, not all of our low-melting point waxes are the same. We offer a range of waxes such as Natural, Vegetal, Blue, Mauve, Vinotherapy, etc., which are characterized as 2AB, 3AB, 4AB, and 5AB (corresponding to the amount of beeswax in the formula). These waxes include natural resin, beeswax, paraffins, fragrances, pigments, and may contain titanium dioxide, among other ingredients. Additionally, we have specially elastic waxes—our polymerized waxes.

TIPS FOR THE PROPER REMOVAL OF ALL TYPES OF HAIR:

  • Always work with vinyl gloves.
  • We recommend using our Starpil warmers as they maintain the low-melting point wax at an optimal temperature.
  • Always carefully control the wax temperature. Ideally, the wax should not be liquid when applied; the perfect consistency allows you to form a ball without it dripping and is easily controllable.
  • Apply the wax in clean, well-defined strips to ensure it can be removed in one piece, avoiding residue on the skin. This minimizes discomfort, irritation, and wasted time removing leftover wax.
  • Low-melting point waxes are cosmetic products with a certain fragility, so they must be handled delicately, avoiding unnecessary force, especially during wax removal.
  • Starpil's low-melting point waxes are multidirectional.
  • For large areas like legs, arms, back, abdomen, and chest, use large wax strips to work quickly. We recommend following a structured application order, especially when treating very fine hair that may become difficult to see if the application sequence is not well-organized.
  • When removing low-melting point wax, ensure you stretch and hold the skin firmly at the edge where you start removal. In areas like the eyebrows and upper lip, stretch the skin from both ends of the wax strip to create a stable surface.
  • After removing the wax, placing a calming hand on the area significantly reduces the discomfort caused by hair removal. Pay special attention to sensitive areas such as the bikini line, underarms, and face.
  • When removing wax from the skin, consider the hair type. For very fine hair, avoid quick and abrupt movements; be gentle and delicate to avoid breaking the hair. For coarser hair, like in the bikini line and underarms, use quicker removal techniques with greater force.
  • The wax is not reused at any time. Apply it, remove it, and discard it.

WHAT ARE STARPIL'S ELASTIC WAXES?

Starpil's elastic waxes are low-melting point waxes that also contain polymers in their composition.

Polymers are molecules that form a network in the wax, giving it special elasticity. This feature makes the wax easier to apply, and clients, with good application techniques, experience less discomfort.

They can remove all types of hair and provide a very pleasant sensation for the client when applied in thin layers.

We offer several elastic low-melting point waxes, each with unique and interesting characteristics.

All our waxes specified as elastic or film are polymerized.

BLUE, PINK, AND BLACK FILM: These are three low-melting point waxes made with natural resins. The blue and black elastic waxes are crystalline and ideal for body areas such as the bikini line and underarms. The pink wax is creamy, making it perfect for facial hair removal.

CORAL WAX: The low-melting point Coral Wax contains a synthetic resin that provides adhesion. It is an elastic wax due to its polymer content and behaves differently, allowing for techniques like swinging.

The Coral line also includes roll-on systems and pre- and post-depilation cosmetics.

CALENDULA WAX: Calendula Wax is very gentle on the skin because it contains titanium dioxide, making it very creamy. It also includes antiseptic and reparative active ingredients such as Calendula extract and Tea Tree oil.

The Calendula line also includes roll-on systems and pre- and post-depilation cosmetics.

PURE VEGAN: Our vegan low-melting point wax line has a special formulation, substituting beeswax with plant-based oils. These oils give the wax a unique texture and are very skin-friendly. It is a polymerized and crystalline wax with excellent hair removal power.

The Pure Vegan line also includes roll-on systems and pre- and post-depilation cosmetics. Additionally, the Pure Vegan line features a relaxation treatment for clients: “Conscious Waxing.”

GLITTER WAXES: Two true beauties from Starpil. These waxes have a natural resin base, are polymerized, and include glitter. The gold wax is semi-creamy, ideal for more sensitive skin, while the Jade wax is a crystalline low-melting point wax.
